Colleen Duncan

About the Speaker
Colleen Duncan is from Vancouver Island, Canada and studied veterinary medicine at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, SK, Canada. After veterinary school she pursued a Master’s of Science in Veterinary epidemiology followed by a combined anatomic pathology residency and epidemiology PhD at Colorado State University. She is a diplomat in both the American College of Veterinary Pathology and the American College of Veterinary Preventative Medicine and as such tries to integrate both epidemiology and pathology into research and teaching. Currently, Colleen is an associate professor at CSU in the department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology and a fellow in the CSU One Health Institute. Her work focuses on issues related to wildlife health in and promotion of the one health initiative.
